AS 24’S TOLL OFFER IN GERMANY

Check the detailed taxable network and download a map of tolled sections on the Toll Collect website.

Rates vary based on four criteria: 

• Number of kilometers covered
• Pollution category 
• Vehicle weight category
• Number of axles (for vehicles over 18 tons)

From 1 July 2024, commercial vehicles and heavy goods vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes will be subject to the "LKW Maut" toll tax. However, there are some exceptions:

• Utility vehicles for craftsmen and people in comparable professions, weighing slightly less than 7.5 tonnes
• Zero-emission vehicles - CO2 class 5

AS 24’S SOLUTIONS 

AS 24 offers three different solutions to reflect your needs:

1. If your trucks regularly drive in Germany and lots of other European countries:
Fit your trucks out with the PASSango OBU and automatically collect taxes and tolls. If your trucks are already equipped with a PASSango OBU, but they haven’t yet been configured for Germany, request the Toll Domain Germany feature be activated in your Customer Area:

• 24/7, whenever you like, 
• Based on your needs, whether for a single OBU or for an entire vehicle fleet.

Use the OBU drop-down menu to configure an entire rig’s maximum weight, and hit the road! 

2. If your trucks regularly drive in Germany and no other country: AS 24 lets you use a Toll Collect OBU thanks to the Eurotrafic card. 

3. If your trucks occasionally drive in Germany, pay your tolls using the Eurotrafic card wherever you are and at any time: 

• Using the Toll Collect mobile app.
• On the Toll Collect website.
• Via the terminals located near the interchanges, service areas, rest areas and service stations in Germany and neighbouring regions. A total of 500 terminals are available.

The AS24 Eurotrafic card is a turnkey solution for paying for HGV fuel and taxes and tolls in Europe. It also allows cardholders to access and pay for some secure car parks in Europe (see the list of secure HGV car parks accessible to AS 24 Eurotrafic cardholders).

The PASSango OBU is a simple, seamless solution that allows users to automatically collect taxes and tolls in multiple countries thanks to a single unit accredited in a number of different countries.

• Quick and easy installation: hook the unit up without having to work with an approved centre;
• Reassign the OBU to another vehicle very quickly (only an hour after you request to do so via your Customer Area on AS24.com);
